Hermes presents innovative grinding tool solutions at Blechexpo 2019 - for an excellent finish!
At Blechexpo 2019 in Stuttgart (Germany), Hermes Schleifmittel GmbH will be presenting its high-performance product portfolio for grinding steel, stainless steel and high-alloy stainless steels and inviting experts from the fields of application engineering, industrial management and sales to discuss individual process issues.
Excellent grinding results and process optimisation for its customers as well as comprehensive services - Hermes' self-image is also at the centre of Blechexpo's trade fair presence.
Visitors will also be able to familiarise themselves with the widely diversified portfolio of tools for each process step in the processing of coils and sheets made of stainless steel and high-alloy steels and see for themselves the possibilities of grinding even more efficiently and economically.
The focus will be particularly on the high-performance CERAMIT® CR 176 abrasive belt on a paper backing. This new development is particularly convincing as a long belt application for the repair grinding of stainless steel thick sheets with an up to 300% higher stock removal rate compared to conventional paper abrasive belts.
The CERAMIT® CR 476 J ceramic grain abrasive belt specially developed for grinding applications on robotic systems will also be presented. Just like the CR 176 already mentioned above, this grinding type convinces with its high economic efficiency with high stock removal rates and long service life as well as belt stability designed for high loads.
Hermes will also be presenting a wide range of grinding solutions for hand sanding (dynafile belts, fibre and velour leaf discs and abrasive sleeves) for professionals from industry and trade.
Interested trade fair visitors are invited to discuss their specific requirements and challenges with our experts in Stuttgart.
