JOB DESCRIPTION 

Summary/objective 

Hermes Abrasives is looking for a dynamic individual to support our Sales force! The perfect candidate will help to drive and grow sales for HVA by working closely with the Outside and Inside Sales teams. This individual should have a knowledge of sales teams, territories, distributors, customers and focus market presence within the assigned region.  A team-player with innovative ideas is a must!

Essential functions

  • Support North American sales of Coated and Bonded Abrasives. 
  • Customer inbound phone and email support.
  • Order entry and status upkeep.
  • Order monitoring, status update and communication.
  • Administrative customer support and file upkeep. 
  • Upkeep and communication of Customer credit status. 
  • Coordination with domestic and international partners on order fulfillment process
  • Develop special pricing, duration oversight, program maintenance, and approval based on guidelines
  • Regional Customer / distributor account maintenance and upkeep 
  • Account Manager and Regional Sales Manager support and Guidance
  • Order prioritization and Fulfillment 
  • Monitoring production, supply chain, stocking and delivery of orders 
  • Maintain customer inventory forecast system (p2d)
  • Competitive Pricing Report / Special Pricing Arrangement maintenance
  • CRM customer maintenance
  • Distributor appointments and facilitation

Competencies

Summary/Objective 

Hermes Abrasives has a Bonded Application Engineer position open at our Virginia Beach facility.  The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ of abrasives experience or a related industrial environment.  The perfect candidate will have at least 5 years’ of bonded abrasives experience!  Join a winning team at the beach!
